We were so fortunate to work with so many wonderful suppliers recently for our latest styled bridal shoot. The Palace Demesne in the ecclesiastical City of Armagh plays host to the Neo-Classical Archbishops Palace and Primatial Chapel. We’ve been meaning to shoot here for a while as the architecture and the tones have always made it one of our favourite places to visit.
It always takes a bit of hard work in the background organising everyone but when it comes to the shoot and you see everyones work come together so well it is so satisfying.
The dresses supplied by Ivory & Pearl were the perfect fit for our model, Niamh. Her youthful and distinct look really accentuated the innocent and eerie feel of this styled shoot. Of course this was helped by Gemma Managh and Carly Proctor, these ladies knew exactly what we were looking.
There were so many beautiful details on show. From the handwritten invitations by Lenka Calligraphy, the wonderful flowers by Gill from Flowers by Mee and what about that cake by Catherine from Cake Couture NI. All of this was underpinned by Laura from Betty Williamson, keeping her creative eye on all the little bits and pieces.
Thank you one and all. As usual it was a pleasure and so much fun. Who’s up for another one?
“She always had that about her, that look of otherness, of eyes that see things much too far, and of thoughts that wander off the edge of the world” – Joanne Harris
